HELLO!
My name is Mia Veliz and I'm from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I have a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management and a Master's degree in Media and Communications from Lynn University. I grew up playing softball where I later got to fulfill my dream of playing in college. During Covid I ran my own small business called Mia Makes Designs where I designed and sold custom stickers nationwide.
I have a passion for photography and social media and I'm working to build my career within the sports industry. I recently had the opportunity to work an internship for the Miami Marlins in their social media department. During my time with the Marlins I was able to build my skills and gain experience in content creating and network with several inspiring people.
I am always open to new opportunities and meeting new people. Below are a couple of extra fun facts about me:)
1. My family is everything to me. They are my best friends and I love creating new memories with them.
2. I am a major baseball fan.
3. I love traveling, my goal is to eventually visit every MLB stadium.
4. I am a fitness fanatic and love going to the gym.
